Children’s Liturgy of the Word

The Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the Sunday Noon Mass provides young parishioners with
an age-appropriate opportunity to engage with the Gospel. This ministry helps children grow in
their faith by presenting the Word of God in a way they ca

n understand and apply to their lives.

Mission & Responsibilities:

• Lead a child-friendly Liturgy of the Word, adapted for younger audiences.
• Help children reflect on the Gospel message through storytelling, discussions, and activities.
• Foster an environment where children feel comfortable exploring their faith.
• Encourage participation in parish life and sacramental preparation.
• Ensure compliance with the Archdiocese of Toronto’s Safe Environment policies.
• Children’s Liturgy leaders are trained volunteers who are committed to nurturing the faith of the youngest members of the parish community.
